Salmon Announces Loan Financing Agreement with Netbank
Salmon Group Ltd, a leading financial technology group dedicated to improving access to credit, savings, and investments for over 500 million underserved customers in Southeast Asia, announces the transfer of select loan accounts from Sunprime Finance Inc. (100% owned by Salmon Group Ltd.) to Netbank.
As part of the ongoing efforts to enhance the funding base and streamline its services, loan accounts previously held by Sunprime Finance Inc. will now be transferred to Netbank. This means that the amount that Salmon offers will now be funded by Netbank, with Netbank being the lender on record. While this will not change the customer’s Salmon experience in any way, the move aims to provide valued customers with improved access to financial services and enhanced support throughout their daily financial needs.
Customers who form part of this transfer will receive notifications via SMS and email informing them of the loan reassignment. There will be no changes to their product’s terms and conditions, loan details, payment schedules, and payee name. Customers can continue making their repayments on time using the same payment information through the Salmon app or through existing Salmon payment channels. There is also no change for customers when using the Salmon mobile app. The app will still reflect the customer’s loan status, balance, and due dates.
Please note that any messages advising Salmon customers to now make repayments to a different payee does not come from Salmon. Customer payments should still be sent unchanged to Salmon or Sunprime.
