Regulatory Change Management Manager

This an independent contributor role that will provide shared-services support to companies of the Fintech Holdings Ltd (“Salmon”) Group and reports directly to the Chief Compliance Officer. The Salmon Group is a fast growing start-up in the financial services sector driven by successful and seasoned individuals seeking to promote financial inclusion in the Philippines.

As a Regulatory Change Management Manager, you will own the monitoring & cascade of applicable laws and regulations, conduct gap analyses, and manage the development of policies and procedures or the amendment of existing policies and procedures in order to implement the laws and regulations. You will also spearhead remediation projects related to regulatory and audit findings/deliverables, to advise on compliance with regulatory guidance and to provide solutions to business initiatives.



Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor of applicable laws and regulations and cascade of the same through briefing notes or trainings;
  • Conduct and drive gap analyses of applicable laws and regulations (moving forward and remediation);
  • Monitor & assist units in closing identified gaps
  • Manage the development of new policies and procedures or the amendment of existing policies and procedures, as needed, in order to comply & implement the laws and regulations;
  • Spearhead remediation projects related to regulatory and audit findings/deliverables;
  • Advise on compliance with regulatory guidance and to provide solutions to business initiatives; and
  • Applicable Laws Register management and update;
  • Library of Laws management and update.

Qualifications:
  • Integrity, flexibility, and people skills;
  • High motivation, results-oriented self-starter, proven ability to work collaboratively within teams and to deliver on time despite minimal supervision;
  • At least three (3) years of experience doing compliance, regulatory compliance, audit, risk management in a universal, commercial, thrift bank;
  • At least with 3 years of experience in company policy making in a bank or other financial institutions;
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and the ability to communicate effectively with both the business units and senior management;
  • Ability to write clearly and concisely with strong analytical/critical thinking and problem solving skills; and
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
