New Year, New Me, New iPhone

Promo Period: December 15, 2025–January 16, 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern participation in the “New year, new me — new iPhone” Promo (“Promo”) organized by Salmon Bank (Rural Bank) Inc. (“the Bank”). The Promo shall run from December 15, 2025 to January 16, 2026 (the “Promo Period”) in the Philippines. By participating in the Promo, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including all decisions made by the Bank, which are final and binding.

 

  1. Eligibility

 

  1. The Promo is open to all individuals aged 18 years and above, residing in the Philippines, who shall open a time deposit account with the Bank in accordance with Section 1.2 below.

    1. Qualified participants, as defined in Section 1.1, must meet the following criteria to receive one (1) raffle entry:

  2. For new clients: Open a new time deposit account with a minimum initial deposit of ₱500,000 during the Promo Period.

  3. For existing clients: Open a new time deposit account with a minimum initial deposit of ₱500,000 during the Promo Period.

    1. Each qualified participant shall be entitled to only one (1) raffle entry, regardless of the number of new time deposit accounts opened.

    2. The minimum deposit of ₱500,000 must be maintained until the raffle draw date. Any withdrawal or reduction below the minimum balance shall result in automatic disqualification from the Promo.

    3. Employees of the Bank, its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising agencies, and their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified from participating.

 

  1. Participation Mechanics

 

  1. Qualified participants shall automatically be included in the raffle upon the successful opening of a new time deposit account in accordance with Section 1.2 above. They shall also be promptly informed that they are entitled to one (1) raffle entry, either in person at the branch, via in-app notification on the Salmon App, or through an SMS sent to their registered mobile number. 

  2. No separate registration shall be required for participation in the Promo.

    1. Participants who wish to opt out of the Promo may contact the Bank’s Customer Support via the Support feature in the Salmon App, or any branch, or email: [email protected].

  3. Qualified participants are responsible for ensuring that their contact information (including email address, mobile number, and mailing address) registered with the Bank is accurate and up to date to ensure receipt of timely winner notification.

 

  1. Raffle Draw and Prizes

     

    1. There shall be only one (1) winner per category of qualified participants. One from new clients, and one from existing clients.

    2. The Raffle Prizes for each category are as follows: 

  2. For new clients: One (1) unit iPhone 17 Pro (256GB, Cosmic Orange)

  3. For existing clients: One (1) unit iPhone 17 Pro (256GB, Cosmic Orange)

    1. Each qualified participant may win only once during the entire Promo Period.

    2. The raffle draw date shall be on January 20, 2026, at 4:00p.m.. The draw will be conducted electronically using random.org, under the supervision of a Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) representative.

    3. Winners will be notified through registered mail, email, and SMS within seven (7) days after the raffle draw date.

    4. The winners’ names will be posted on the Bank’s official website at https://salmon.ph/promos and social media page at https://www.facebook.com/salmonbank/. By participating in the Promo, participants agree and consent to such publication if they are declared winners.

    5. Prize Redemption

      1. Winners may claim their prizes at the Bank’s BGC Office at ONE Neo Tower, BGC, Taguig, or opt for delivery arranged by the Bank.

      2. To claim the prize, the winner must present a valid government-issued identification card and proof of notification confirming that he or she has been declared a winner.

      3. If the prize will be claimed through an authorized representative, the representative must present the following:

  4. a duly signed authorization letter from the winner;

  5. a copy of the winner’s valid government-issued ID;

  6. the representative’s own valid government-issued ID; and

  7. proof of notification confirming the winner.

    1. Prizes must be claimed within sixty (60) days from receipt of notice and only on weekdays, during business hours from 10:00a.m. to 7:00p.m.. Otherwise, the prizes shall be forfeited in favor of the Bank with prior DTI approval.

    2. Prizes are non-transferable and not convertible to cash.

 

  1. Data Privacy

4.1         Participants agree that the Bank may collect and process personal data, including but not limited to the participant’s name, contact details, and account information, solely for the purpose of administering this Promo.

4.2                The Bank shall handle all personal data in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and the Bank’s Privacy Notice - Promotions, which outlines how personal information is collected, used, stored, and protected for this Promo.

4.3                The Bank’s Privacy Notice - Promotions may be accessed through the Bank’s website at [AM1] https://salmon.ph/privacy-policy or by requesting a copy from any branch.

  2. Miscellaneous

 

6.1         All deposit accounts remain subject to the Bank’s Deposit Terms and Conditions, including its Appendices.

6.2         This Promo cannot be combined with other ongoing promotions unless explicitly stated otherwise by the Bank.

6.3         The Bank reserves the right to verify eligibility and to disqualify any participant found to have violated these Terms and Conditions or engaged in fraudulent activities, subject to DTI concurrence.

6.4        The Bank shall not be liable for failure to honor raffle entries or deliver prizes due to fraud, or force majeure. 

6.4         All decisions made by the Bank, with DTI concurrence, are final and binding.

6.5         All promotional materials shall include the mandatory DTI statement: “Per DTI Fair Trade Permit No. R4A-12-327, Series of 2025.”

6.6         These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. These Terms and Conditions, together with DTI-approved mechanics, constitute the entire agreement governing the Promo. 

6.7        If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under any applicable law or regulation, such invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability shall not affect the remaining provisions, which shall remain in full force and effect.

6.8         Any dispute arising from or in connection with this Promo shall be filed exclusively in the proper courts of Taguig City, Philippines, to the exclusion of all other venues.

6.9        Any change in Promo mechanics or schedule, or cancellation due to events beyond the Bank’s control (e.g., natural disasters, system failures), shall be subject to prior DTI approval when required and timely participant notice, without prejudice to consumer protection rights.
