Can I move my payment to another Salmon loan?

Yes, you can ask to move funds from one loan to another. This is called a reallocation request, and it depends on the type of loan and where the funds came from. 

 

When a payment is applied differently than you expected 

If you have more than one active Salmon loan, such as a Product Loan, Personal Loan, or Credit Line, your payment might automatically be spread across your loans. 

This can happen when the system applies your payment to older or overdue balances first. 

If you meant to pay a specific loan in full, but your payment was divided or went to a different one, you can request to move it. 

 

 

How to file a reallocation request 

To file a reallocation request for your payment, contact customer service via in-app chat. 
 

Kindly prepare these details so we can process your request faster: 

  • Date of payment 

  • Amount you want to move 

  • Which loan the funds came from (loan type and loan number) 

  • Which loan you would like to move the funds to (loan type and loan number) 

  • A short explanation of what happened
