How can I block, freeze, or report a lost card?

If the card for your Credit Line is lost, stolen, or you simply want to pause its use, you can easily manage its access in the Salmon app. 

The steps to do so are different depending on whether you’re using a physical Salmon Access Card or virtual card. 

 

 

For virtual cards 

Block your virtual card 
If you lost your card or think it has been compromised, you can permanently block it so it can no longer be used. 

  1. Log in to the Salmon app 

     

  2. On the home page, tap Credit Line under Products 

     

  3. Tap Virtual Card under Cards 

     

  4. Tap Block forever 

Once the card is blocked, it cannot be reactivated. You can, however, request a new virtual card to be reissued anytime. 

 

 

Freeze or unfreeze your virtual card 
Freezing your card lets you temporarily pause your transactions without permanently blocking it. This is ideal if you'd like to: 

  • Limit your spending 

  • Investigate a transaction you don’t recognize 

  • Protect your card if you misplace it 

 

Here’s how you can freeze or unfreeze your card. 

  1. Log in to the Salmon app 

     

  2. On the home page, tap Credit Line under Products 

     

  3. Under Cards, tap Virtual card 

     

  4. Tap Freeze card to temporarily disable your card 

     

  5. To use it again, tap Unfreeze card 

 

 

For physical Salmon Access Cards 

Block your physical card 
If your card is lost or stolen, permanently block it to prevent unauthorized transactions. 

  1. Log in to the Salmon app 

     

  2. Go to Credit Line under Your Products 

     

  3. Tap the card icon (showing the last 4 digits of your card)

     

  4. Select Block forever 

     

  5. Choose a reason for blocking 

     

  6. Confirm by tapping Yes, block 

     

  7. A successful message will confirm that your card has been blocked. Tap Got it to return to the Credit Line screen 

Your card will now display a Blocked label with the option to request a new Salmon Access Card. 

 

Freeze or unfreeze your physical Salmon Access Card 

To freeze or unfreeze your physical Salmon Access Card:  

  1. Log in to the Salmon app 

     

  2. On the Credit Line screen, tap the card icon showing the last 4 digits of your card number 

     

  3. Tap Freeze card 

     

  4. Read the details, then tap Freeze to temporarily disable your Salmon Access Card 

     

  5. You can unfreeze your card anytime when you’re ready to use it again
