How can I make an early payment?

For Salmon Financing (POS) and Salmon Cash Loan

Selected customers can now repay their loan early using the Salmon app (full early repayment or FER). This means you can pay before your due date without contacting Salmon Customer Service.

Follow these steps to fully repay your loan via the app:

  1. Log in to the Salmon app.
  2. On the Home page, under Your products, select the loan you want to pay early and tap on it.
  3. Under Overview, tap Pay loan in full.
  4. You will then see the full amount due.
  5. Confirm the amount to be repaid. Then, select Tap to select a method.
  6. Review all your payment details. Then, tap Proceed to full payoff.
  7. If repayment is successful, your loan status will update in the Your products section to Financial product closed and all paid.

If you're not eligible to do FER in the app, you can still request early payment through Salmon Customer Service via In-App Chat.

Please provide the following details:

  • The number of months you want to pay in advance
  • The amount you wish to pay

Our agent will provide the total amount due and explain how it affects your loan balance.

Once you receive the payment details, complete the payment by 11:59 PM on the same day. Delayed payments may result in a different amount than your intended early payment.

Important Notes:

  • For non-eligible accounts, if you make an early payment without informing Salmon Customer Service, the excess amount will first cover the current month's due, with the remainder applied to future payments.
  • If you make a partial early payment and notify Salmon Customer Service, your loan term will shorten but your monthly due will stay the same.

For Salmon Credit

You do not need to contact Salmon Customer Service for early or advance payments.

While a minimum monthly payment is required, you can pay extra anytime. Additional payments go directly toward your outstanding balance, reducing the total amount you owe.
