How does the Bring-a-Friend program work?
You can earn rewards by referring your friends to apply for a loan with Salmon. When your friend applies using your uniquely generated referral link or QR code and their loan is approved, you can receive a cash reward.
This works differently depending on the type of loan availed, whether it’s Product Loan or Credit Line.
You can earn ₱100 for every successful Product Loan referral. This applies only if you have an active Product Loan or availed a Product Loan in the past.
You may avail of the Bring-a-Friend program when:
The friend you refer to is a new Salmon customer
Your friend uses your referral code or link during their application
Their Product Loan is approved and they receive their item
If your friend applies for a different loan type (in this case, Salmon Product Loan), your reward will not be issued.
Take note that you can earn a maximum of five (5) rewards (a total of ₱500) for Product Loan referrals.
How to send an invitation from the Salmon app
1. Log in to the Salmon app
2. Tap the Refer and earn button located on the upper right corner of the home page
3. On your profile page, tap Refer and earn again
4. Select the Refer a friend tab. Select Product Loan as the product you want your friend to apply for
5. Save the generated referral QR code or copy the referral link provided
6. Send the QR code or link to your friends so they can download the Salmon app and start their application
How your friend applies
1. Tap the referral link sent to them or scan the QR code. They will then be redirected to the Product Loan page
2. Click on Apply now and Provide personal details
3. Select a nearby store
4. Visit the selected partner store
5. Choose the item to be purchased
6. Apply with the same phone number that was registered on the webpage
7. Complete the Product Loan application
If the loan is approved and their item is issued, you will then receive your reward.
How rewards are paid
Your reward is credited within 8 days after each successful referral, once your friend’s loan has been approved and issued. Your reward can then be credited to your connected GCash or bank account in the Salmon app.
You can earn ₱100 for every successful Credit Line referral. Your friend must be a new Salmon customer and apply using your uniquely generated link or QR code.
Take note that you can earn a maximum of fifteen (15) rewards (a total of ₱1500) for Credit Line referrals.
How to refer a friend to Credit Line
1. Log in to the Salmon app
2. Tap the Refer and earn button located in the upper right corner of the home page
3. On your profile page, tap Refer and earn again
4. Select the Refer a friend tab. Select Credit Line as the product you want your friend to apply for
5. Save the generated referral QR code or copy the referral link provided
6. Send the QR code or link to your friends so they can download the Salmon app and start their application
How your friend applies
Your friend downloads the Salmon app using the referral link or QR code you generated
They apply for a Credit Line in the app
Once their application is approved, your reward will automatically be credited to your Salmon account
How to claim your reward
1. Open the Salmon app. Tap Refer and earn
2. Tap Claim reward
3. Enter your GCash details
4. Tap Transfer to send the reward to your GCash account
