What documents do I need to open a Time Deposit?

The documents you need depend on whether you're a Filipino citizen or a foreign national. 

For Filipino citizens 

You'll need one (1) recent photo and one valid ID to open an account in the Salmon app. The following IDs are accepted:

• Unified Multi-Purpose ID (UMID)
• Philippine Passport
• Driver's License
• Postal ID
• PhilSys National ID (physical plastic card only)
• Social Security System (SSS) card

The following IDs are not accepted: the new SSS ID, PRC ID, Voter's ID, and digital or printed PhilSys ID. 

If you apply at a branch, please bring one valid government-issued ID that shows your current address and one recent 1x1 photo. 

For foreign nationals 

If you legally reside in the Philippines, you'll need:

• One (1) recent photo
• Your foreign passport
• Your Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR)
• A proof of your address in the Philippines with your name on it — this can be a lease contract, a utility bill, or a barangay certificate
