Why does my invoice say non-VAT, and can I claim input VAT?
VAT (value-added tax) is a tax added to the price of most goods and services. Banks and financing companies are taxed differently, so your invoice says non-VAT. That’s expected.
You can’t use this invoice to claim input VAT. A note at the bottom of the invoice says so. Consult your tax advisor or the BIR if you’re not sure how to include this invoice in your tax filings.
