What should I do when ID uploading fails?

Here is a checklist of best practices for uploading your ID scan. This will give us the best chance possible of verifying your ID successfully.

Check your internet connection. You need to be connected to the internet to upload the ID scan. A poor connection can lead to upload failures or delays.

Make sure you are scanning a valid ID on this list. The ID must also not be redacted, altered, or damaged:
  • Unified Multi-Purpose Identification (UMID) Card
  • Driver’s License
  • Voter’s ID
  • PhilSys ID (Philippine Identification System ID)
  • Social Security System (SSS) Card
  • Philippine passport
  • PRC ID (Professional Regulation Commission ID)
  • Postal ID
For online loan applications, PRC and Voter’s IDs are not accepted. Also, we only accept the plastic card PhilSys ID, not the digital version.

Scan the ID in a room with good light. This can help guarantee that the text and picture in the ID are captured clearly.

Scan the ID on a flat surface. This can minimize distortions and shadows, ensuring a clear and accurate ID scan. Also, make sure there is nothing blocking the ID you are scanning.

Follow on-screen instructions. Pay close attention to any on-screen instructions shown while doing the ID scan.
